CONCURRENT DISABILITY BENEFITS
Concurrent disability benefits are available to you if you have a severe medical condition that keeps you from working more than 12 months. “Concurrent benefits” refers to receiving both SSDI and SSI benefits at the same time. WORK CREDITS & SSDI BENEFITS
To qualify for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, you need to accumulate work credits through regular contributions to the SSDI program.
