Cannon Disability Law Building in SLC, UT

Our law offices are in Salt Lake City, but we serve clients throughout Utah and the Intermountain West. The attorneys at our firm have over 60 years of legal experience helping people get the benefits they deserve. We don’t win every case, but in the past 30 years, we have won over $100 million in ongoing and past due SSD and SSI benefits for our clients.

Additionally, all of our lawyers are members of the Utah State bar. We also have licenses to practice law in Nevada, Idaho, and California. Dianna Cannon has been at attorney in Utah since 1992. She has been helping people win Social Security benefits since she finished law school.

Our law office address is 633 East South Temple, Salt Lake City. It is easy to find. From either the north or south entrance on I-80, take the 6th South Exit. Then, drive east seven blocks until your reach 7th East. Turn left and drive 7 blocks to South Temple. Turn left once you reach South Temple and our office is on the right. Our office building is directly across the street from the Masonic Temple.

The entrance door to our building is not on South Temple, it is on H Street. You will know which door is our front door because there is a water feature in front of it. There is ample free parking on the street on H street, which is to the west of our building.

If you have a wheelchair, you can use our parking stall in our free parking lot. We also have a ramp to our front door, which is helpful if you use a walker or cane. Inside we have a comfortable waiting room. Additionally, we have bathrooms with wide doors and hand bars, so they are easy to use for those with a walker, cane, or other helpful device.

We love it when our clients visit our office, but we do hope that you have an appointment. Also, it is a good idea, when dropping off medical records or paperwork for an appeal or application, to call us first. That way, our staff can make time to copy your paperwork and return the original to you.

We usually close early on Friday afternoons for staff training. Also, there are times we are closed because we are having a full day of training. Full day training usually happens once a year.

Additionally, we are closed on all federal holidays. So, before you come to the office, make sure one of our staff members know you are coming.  Also, if you let us know you are coming in, then we can make sure there is a conference room available for you to meet with us.

At our law firm, our legal team knows what it is like to have a severe medical condition that keeps your from working. We also know the problems you’re facing if you cannot work. For example, over the years our employees have raised money for the Utah State Food Bank and the 4th Street Clinic. We also raise money to fight breast cancer and have run as a team in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Race for the Cure 5K. Last year, we raised money to donate to the Ronald McDonald house.

We have been working for people and winning their SSDI and SSI benefits for over 30 years. During that time, we have won over $100 million in benefits. Next, we will appeal your case if you receive an SSA denial. After that, we will request a hearing for you. Additionally, we meet with our clients before the hearing. Our job is to help you understand the questions that the Judge will ask you. By learning what type of questions the judge will ask, you can prepare yourself to be a better witness. We have over 30 years of legal experience winning Social Security benefits. Therefore, you should hire us and put our legal experience to work for you.

You do not need to try to win SSD and SSI benefits yourself. We can help file your SSDI application. Also, we can help you appeal every SSA denial. That way, you can focus on your health. For example, our attorneys and staff can:

If you file your application for benefits online at Social Security’s website, then you have 6 months to complete the application. However, if you have a medical condition that automatically wins SSD benefits, you should file your application as soon as possible. Once you submit your application online, the SSA sends you an application summary in the mail. You must sign the summary and mail it back. Send it in quickly.

When you contact our law firm, you will receive a free review of your case. Even better, you do not have to pay any money upfront to hire us to help you with your case. We represent all of our client on a pay only if you win basis. This means that if we do not win your case, you do not owe us an attorney fee.

What does a free consult mean? It means that we will answer your questions about your Social Security case for free. If you don’t know how to apply for benefits, then we will help you. Likewise, if you want to become a client or you are wondering if you have a good SSD case, then we will tell you. Also, we can explain whether events like marriage effect your SSI benefits. You may also have questions about retirement benefits and Social Security benefits. We are happy to answer all questions.

You want Utah SSD and SSI benefits and you want a great attorney to help you. As SSD attorneys, we offer a free review of your case. But, a free review does not mean we are your attorney. First, we have to accept your case. We only take cases that we think have a chance of winning. Why? Because we are only paid if we win.

Much of our decision depends on what you tell us. Therefore, when you call, make sure you explain all of your physical and mental conditions. For example, if you have anxiety, then tell us. Likewise, if you have a physical condition, like back pain, then don’t forget to tell us about a back operation you may have had.

We will ask you questions about your work history. Also, we will ask you questions about your legal history and if you have alcohol abuse problems. These types of issues can prevent winning your case. If you already have an attorney, however, you will need to call that attorney to answer your questions. We cannot answer questions if you already have a lawyer.

Also, if we do not win your case, then you do not owe an attorney fee. Whether you win or lose your case, you will need to pay the costs of your claim. However, those costs are usually low. You can also review our client paperwork on our Fee Agreement and Important Forms page.

Contact us today and hire the legal team with the experience to win your Utah SSDI & SSI benefits. We will help you through each step of SSA’s five step review process.
