Every Day 28 People Die While Waiting For Their SSA Disability Hearing

Last year, 8,000 people died while waiting for their Social Security Disability hearing. Doing the math, that means approximately 23 people a day died without receiving a hearing on their disability benefits.  The backlog at the Social Security Administration is unacceptable.

If you are our client, please call us with your medical sources or bring us your medical records so that we can submit them to the SSA in the hope that they will listen to us and grant your case. If you are unrepresented, you need an attorney. Call us and see if we can help you win your disability benefits. The call is free – 1-800-323-2323.

Contact your representatives in Congress and tell them your story so they understand people are dying because of these wait times.  Ask them to call Social Security on your behalf, so that your case is flagged for investigation if the wait time has been too long. Ask Congress to fund the SSA’s budget requests for more money, so that they have enough employees to process the disability claims. These are all things you can do to prevent a long wait for your hearing.
